KlayCity is a P2E virtual reality world where NFT owners of the District can operate, explore and earn while enjoying the gaming experience. With a view to regenerating the planet, accumulating resources, repopulating it, and enlarging the realm. KlayCity, which is based on Klaytn, aims to gamify DeFi and NFT into an unified ecosystem.
II. Plot of Klaycity
The earth as we know it in 2080 is no longer what it once was; it has been severely damaged by pollution and global warming for many years, and the majority of the population centers have long since vanished. There is no alternative but to search for another planet. The remaining humans were scattered across the cosmos by ten spacecraft in search of other star systems, but they were unsuccessful.
They go through threats from extraterrestrials on their mission, and they lose nine spacecraft. The ship’s survivors experience homesickness when they experience a moment of hopelessness. kill. When they got home, they noticed that some places had partially recovered from the pollution. They discovered a way to reduce pollution after researching such places. The survivors succeeded in building LAY007, a robot that will assist them in cleaning up the planet.
Now, the only way for humanity to live is to create LAY007 and clean up the planet. To begin again, the survivors picked 1,000 new locations and gave them the name Districts. A number is given to each District, such as District 0001. Aid in the resurgence and vigor of mankind
III. Striking Features of Klaycity
1. Structural part
On the Klaytn Blockchain, KlayCity is a decentralized P2E (Play for Money) game.
Users (District Owners) produce LAY007 Tokens that may be used to farm ORB Tokens and find new Districts.
LAY007 generation rate can be increased by using ORB tokens to find new Districts, develop existing Districts, or both.
The entire game is decentralized, and we employ staking, minting, and burning to provide players a P2E experience.
2. About Gameplay
KlayCity is a P2E virtual world, built on the Klaytn network. Users can acquire District NFTs and produce $LAY, which they can use to farm $ORB Tokens or improve the NFTs in their District.
There are only 1000 Districts available at the beginning of the game, and gamers must spend $LAY and $ORB to explore new areas.
Users will be able to view their personal LAY007 roaming map and the entire globe is completely interactive. Future additions to the game include building, PVP, and other features.
3. Garbage collection mode
Players’ primary source of revenue is scavenging.
Users can remove $ORB from the ground by depositing their $LAY007 in order to clean up the earth.
There will be two options for scavenging at launch.
- Short Range Garbage (7–14 days): LAY007 travels only a short way and immediately returns. Small gains are made via short-range scavenging $ORB
- Garbage Cleanup Over a Long Distance (15–30 days): LAY007 travels farther and takes longer to return. Large earnings are made by long-range scavenging $ORB.
4. Discovery mode
Users can burn their $ORB and deposit a pool of $LAY007 to find new Districts.
7 days pass before discovery, and $LAY007 is not refundable (burnt).
A new District can be discovered for 16 LAY007 tokens and 20,000 ORB tokens at first.
In order to preserve the sustainable development of the Land NFTs being explored, the cost of exploration will rise over time.
5. Level up mode
Users will be able to generate $LAY007 more quickly by leveling up a District.
A district’s original level and current level both affect the cost of land leveling in the district. As the level increases, the price rises exponentially.
